About Northern Eye Care

Northern Eye Care operates full-scope optometry and optical practice in the heart of Flushing, Queens conveniently located at Northern Boulevard and within walking distance of the MTA Flushing subway station. We have been serving the communities of Queens and Long Island since year 2000. We provide the highest quality full-service care for all your eye health needs ranging from comprehensive medical eye exams to routine annual eye exams for adults and children. We offer extensive coverage for any eye-related issues that may be bothering you and our goal is to exceed your expectations and develop lasting relationships with patients of all ages.

Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Deborah Kanarfogel O.D.

Dr. Deborah Kanarfogel graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry and is a NYS licensed optometrist. She has over 40 years of clinical experience working in various optometric settings. She has a wide scope of practice that includes primary care, contact lens, pediatric optometry, and ocular disease. Dr. Kanarfogel is known for her precise and accurate prescriptions that ensure patients clear and comfortable vision for all their spectacle and contact lens needs.  She also has great experience working with children and is an ideal doctor to provide pediatric eye care needs.

Dr. Audrey Yue O.D.

Dr. Audrey Yue received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Binghamton University and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She has experience working with patients of all ages and her interests are in the fields of primary care, ocular disease, contact lens, and pediatrics. Dr. Yue’s approach towards patient care is to develop good relations with each individual in order to deliver more personalized care. She performed her clinical training at the SUNY College of Optometry’s University Eye Center and the VA Northport Medical Center where she gained experience in the management and treatment of dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and more. Dr. Yue has experience volunteering as a sighted guide and working with visually impaired children at the Lighthouse Guild in New York City. She is also conversant in speaking Cantonese (Chinese).
